ACCREDITATIONS

CARF Certification:

Growth & Opportunity has been accredited by CARF since 1978 with its current accreditation being earned through May, 2013 and will be undergoing the survey process once again in April, 2013.

Growth & Opportunity holds accreditation for Quality Individualized Services and Supports, Organizational Employment Services, Transition Services and Community Integration.

Through accreditation, CARF assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards.

The accreditation process applies sets of standards to service areas and business practices during an on-site survey. Accreditation, however, is an ongoing process, signaling to the public that a service provider is committed to continuously improving services, encouraing feedback, and serving performance, manage its risk, and distinguish its service delivery.

Third-party players, governmental agencies, and the public at-large recognize CARF accreditation as a demonstration of accountability and conformance to internationally accepted standards that promote excellence in your services.

ISO Certification:

Growth & Opportunity, Inc. is ISO 9001:2008 certified. ISO is a quality system that is recognized by the big three automotive companies: General Motors, Chrysler and Ford, as well as other non-automotive businesses. ISO quality standards can be applied in any organization regardless of its size or type of business. ISO certification helps both product and service oriented companies achieve standards of quality that are recognized and respected worldwide.

Having a quality system in place helps the organization's employees know what they are expected to do on each and every job or for each and every process and/or service performed. It also explains how to perform each function correctly and what needs to be done if a discrepancy or non-conformity to the quality system is found.
